Digital Designer
We are looking for a digital designer to join our technical team. A proactive team player, you will be an established creative with high levels of design and conceptual thinking. You have embraced all things digital, taking the best creative ideas and making them work both on and offline. With the execution of full standards compliant websites, microsites, landing pages, social media integrated projects, email campaigns, Flash animations and online ads. These responsibilities include creating and communicating concepts and developing interactive design solutions from inception to completion.
You must have a passion for all things digital, be enthusiastic, have a pro-active attitude and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability and willingness to continually search for new ideas and methods. You will be working alongside others in superb working environment so you also need to be a good team player.
What you'll be doing:
- Working independently as well as integrating with a highly dynamic creative and technical team
- Contributing ideas during conceptual meetings
- Developing information architectures, wireframes, and content organisation processes
- Creating designs based on new and existing design direction with limited content
- Assisting with break-up and optimisation of visual assets for final development
- Designing websites, templates, graphics and providing creative input on the look and feel of entire websites
- Developing and using Flash animation
- Demonstrating knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques
What you will need to have:
- Have an outstanding interactive/online portfolio
- An eye for detail, typography and colour is a must
- Demonstrate a passion for design and creative problem solving and be capable to justify concepts to clients and team members
- Able to present and articulate creative ideas and concepts for audiences with varying degrees of understanding in the digital space
- Excellent design presentation and persuasion skills
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive tasks through to completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intimate knowledge of information design, including the topology of information for the web, and user interface issues, including browser/platform constraints
- Understanding of designing to accessibility and usability standards
- Experience with strategic marketing, campaign development and creative execution
- Highly organised and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Leadership abilities to mentor learning and excellence among team members
- Lead or support the presentation of design solutions to clients
- Must be self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience creating design assets for use with social media
- Experience managing and prioritising the design workflow
Essential skill set:
- Mastery of Adobe CS3/4 including Flash
- With Flash ActionScript 3 Development a plus
- Solid understanding of X/HTML + CSS2 (for simple updates and page creation)
- A solid understanding of UI design patterns
- Experience creating and applying WordPress themes desirable
- Experience of developing content for a mobile platform e.g. iPhone / Smartphone
Added value skill set:
- Design experience for eCommerce (Magento), Payment Gateways and knowledge and experience of using and designing for Content Management systems
- Adobe Air Player experience
- Knowledge and experience of using Campaign Monitor (or another email marketing application)
- Social Media - Knowledge and experience or Facebook Connect, FBML integration, Facebook apps, Twitter etc
- Experience using a version control system: SVN (preferred), CVS, Git

Web Developer / Programmer
We are currently looking for a good php web developer / programmer to join our technical team. Working on a variety of projects, with a majority of website builds as well as online marketing and integrated campaigns for a wide range of different clients, they are looking for a skilled developer particularly proficient in programming in object oriented PHP and MySQL databases; the successful candidate will also have excellent front-end coding with X/HTML, CSS and JavaScript / libraries. You will also have expert knowledge of accessibility, W3C standards and practices, as well as an exemplary eye for detail.
The successful candidate will have worked on, and developed database driven and transactional websites (sample URLs will be required), this must be within a LAMP environment. Most importantly, you must be a team player, quick learner, be on the cutting edge of web technologies and web development trends, keep up to date with latest industry news and trends - finger on the pulse, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and have experience working within a digital agency.

Essential skill set:
- PHP 5 - Object Orientated Programming (OOP & OOD)

- Basic Linux/Windows system administration skills such as configuring Apache, PHP, MySQL
- W3C standards, achieving an AA WAI rating and compatible with the main Mac & PC browsers.
- Knowledge of browser quirks and variations
- Adobe Software: Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator
- SEO and SEM understanding and ability to use Google Analytics
- Excellent internet skills in using various browsers and search engines
Added value skill set:
- API's - e.g. Google Maps, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
- Social Media - Facebook Connect, FBML integration, Facebook apps, Twitter etc
- Content Management System: Expression Engine (Preferred), Wordpress (Preferred), Drupal, Joomla, ModX etc
- MVC Frameworks: CodeIgniter (Preferred) or Zend, CakePHP etc
- Experience using a version control system: SVN (preferred), CVS, Git
- Knowledge and experience of using Campaign Monitor and API\'s
Desirable skill set:
